About me
Hello, I'm Rosalind
I'm a certified Body Control Pilates teacher with a passion for helping people move with ease and feel their best. I came to Pilates not as a fitness enthusiast, but as someone who needed it. Years of desk work, pregnancy, and the everyday demands of family life had left me with persistent aches and pains, tight hips, and a body that felt disconnected from my mind. A friend suggested I try Body Control Pilates, and within a few weeks, something shifted. I became fascinated by the precision of the method - the way it's accessible to everyone. I trained as a teacher through the Body Control Pilates Association, completing my Pilates Matwork qualification in 2026. I teach because I know first-hand what Pilates can do. Whether you're looking to improve posture and mobility, build strength, manage stress, or recover from injury - I'm here to guide you through it. I believe there’s no such thing as being “good” or “bad” at Pilates, or not being "flexible enough". Pilates is for every body. My aim is to create welcoming, supportive sessions where you can work at your own pace, build strength and confidence, challenge yourself when you're ready, and enjoy the benefits of moving with greater ease. I’d love to help you discover what Pilates can do for you.
In 10 sessions you'll feel the difference, in 20 you'll see the difference, and in 30 you'll have a new body - Joseph Pilates.
My approach
Pilates that meets you where you are
Every body is different. Every session I teach is tailored to the individual in front of me — your history, your goals, your pace. I believe Pilates should feel empowering, never intimidating. My classes are warm, focused, and always grounded in the principles that make Body Control Pilates so effective: relaxation, concentration, coordination, centring, alignment, breathing, stamina, and flowing movements.
